| Back in the day it was always a dilemma, kickin it in the hardcore room or the jungle room. Fools had to keep the vibe hardcore cuz it was all about finding the hardest beats! One of the cats who’s always held it down hardcore is this cat right here. DJ INYOUNG has been runnin shit forever and played bunch of N20 parties back in the day! Don’t sleep on this interview, Inyoung is a homie and drops some good advice here too (Also don’t forget to peep his website at http://djinyoung.com) |

| Vintage steez from the Old Skool Freeburning days in Downtown LA. If you ever had a chance to get past the barbed wire and knew the password, you could pick up some dope jungle, skate the halfpipe and be part of history. Around the end of that era DJ Shiro dropped the N20 classics, the ‘Vulcan Death Grip’ LP and the ‘Rollout remix’. Shit was straight mash-up years before you even heard of ‘mash-up’! Funny thing is, there’s more originality in this clip than most wanna-be labels will put out in their entire career. |

| Another classic clip from the N20 archives, RAW in the cut at the OG Freeburning. Peep the shaolin graff in the back and the record rack where some of LA’s greatest picked up their jungle ammo. On a sidenote, recently some jackass told us how downtown LA needs a good jungle shop. Hey puto, you’re about 7 years too late, if you weren’t there you fuckin slept. Also its easy to claim downtown and live ‘loft style’ after they gentrify the shit. I wouldn’t trust anyone who lives in downtown today anyway, they’re about as hardcore as a Starbucks latte. |

DJ Starscream Abunaii Sounds Video Clip
(1m 22sec)
$1.99
IN STOCK |
|
| A lot of Starscream fans have been diggin the Abunaii Sounds CD, but not many of them know that it was released for Starscream’s Abunaii Sounds Japan Tour in 2003. It was an important tour because it was the first time Starscream dropped the Full Metal Jungle sounds on the Japanese Slipknot fans. It was a fun trip and since then has really grown to something that the Japanese fans look forward to. Anyway, this fast paced clip cut by the N20 films division shows some of the highlights from the tour, and Bad Girl Ayumi makes a cameo towards the end! If you like canes to the ear and panchira shots, this is definitely for you. |

| As you probably know whenever DJ Starscream isn't onstage playing with Slipknot, he's doing solo gigs all over the world. In fact sometimes he'll play a gig in an intimate club venue right after playin for 50,000 Slipknot fans in a stadium! On this night Starscream was headlining with his good friend and legendary hardcore DJ, Rob Gee. The spot was in a real meatlocker in downtown LA! There was no ventilation so it was hot as hell in there but it was fuckin dope! Jungle kids could learn something from the dedication of the hardcore fans. The spot got raided by the cops later in the night but we had a good time while we were there. We also interviewed DJ Inyoung that night, peep the clip above, its N20-VDL02. |

| You never know who’s gonna roll thru the dojo, and this particular night, DJ Kilmore from Incubus rolled thru the shop. He heard Freeburning had the sickest vinyl and choice cuts, so he had to drop by and see what everyone was talking about. It’s a pretty dope clip cuz you can see Kilmore get funky on the cut (its the same 06 that RAW blessed back in the old skool days!) Kilmore also picked up a bunch of jungle and dancehall that night that he used on his west coast solo tour, so if you ever trainspot him, now you know where he’s getting his cuts from! |

|
|
| A lot of people know that the LA hardcore DJ Baseck has been callin out RAW for years on mixtapes and on the streets. Seemed like it was just talk, so I was surprised when I heard they were gonna battle. Yup, the shit talking was put to an end in a three round battle, head to head, cut for cut, on some real b-boy shit. Too bad Baseck was all talk with nothing to back it up. In this first round RAW rocked some straight party shit hyping up the crowd non-stop. I’m pretty sure Baseck was checkin his crate for some G-funk at this point, too bad all he had was hardcore which doesn’t lend itself too well to beat juggling… (FYI there's no footage of Baseck in these videos, just RAdub on the cut!) |

RAW VS CRAZE 1
(12min 37sec)
$4.99
IN STOCK |
|
| This is the famous RAW vs Craze battle that went down in 2002. Although it wasn’t billed as a battle, with two turntablists in the house peeps really wanted to see who would come out on top. I wasn’t sure myself, but when Puto Craze busted out the Final Scratch Prototype I knew it was all over. Besides lack of tight mixing, Craze coming from a hip-hop background wasn’t as deep in the cuts as RAW (Dillinja and Ray Keith weren’t gonna save Craze this night). It was also funny when ‘someone’ kicked his AC out of the wall, whoops reboot. Anyway, after a lengthy set of popular UK tunes, RAW came on and started his set with some soulful scratches letting fools know that Craze wasn’t the only turntablist in the house. Then RAW unleashed the sickest 20 minutes of straight turntablist bizness that I’ve ever seen in my whole life. For people overseas or only familiar with the UK drum ‘n bass steez, this is what N20 is all about. Its not only about killin soundbwoys with the sounds, but with killin em with hardcore mixing styles, keeping shit funky, cutting and juggling your way past the competition. If you never had the chance to see the OG West Coast jungle steez in action, now’s your chance. (FYI there's no footage of puto Craze in these videos, just RAdub on the cut!) |

During the second half of RAW’s set he started busting out some alien mixing styles and sick SICK doubles routines. And keep in mind that RAW was killin Craze on REAL vinyl with HIS OWN RECORDS. That’s fuckin sick! To this day I still haven’t seen anyone come close to what I saw that night. If you downloaded the first half, the second half is mandatory! I predict that DJs in Inner Mongolia will be cloning RAW’s styles after seein this shit. Its four years later and I still watch this shit and say damn.

One of the first big ragga jungle shows to go down in LA was Gorilla Warfare. The show was hyped up for months with General Malice and Krinjah slated to do a junglist soundclash, dub fi dub, tune for tune. Folks flew in from all over the states and even Canada to check this shit out. CRS? opened the show layin down some danky ragga as the house filled up. By the time Malice got on the decks the house was packed with 2000+ heads waitin to see who would show and prove. This clip starts as Malice lays down his first dubplates which reminded me of old school killin a soundbwoy styles. However recess was soon over as the General shifited into high gear with the war tunes! Krinjah would have a hard time recovering from this round
as the Dojo Monks say, Boom bye bye inna Krinjah head! First of three clips in this series, check it out! (FYI there's no footage of Krinjah's set in these clips, just General Malice layin down the cuts!)

After General Malice's opening round, Krinjah laid down his dubs, but they were all lovers rock (nullus) with a few Malice disses. What was dude thinking? Anyway, we pick up the second clip as Malice continues his mashed up amen assault. Many dubs were dropped in this set including 'This is the Year' and cuts from Malice's 'G4 EP'. As the show progressed a group of hot junglettes started congregating around the stage givin thumbs up to the N20 Big Cat sound. It's a good live in the cut clip... history in the making.

I don't know what it is about the General but he always gets the girls open sort of like a junglist Lil Jon but a lot paler. Peep the steez, its classic N20 / Big Cat action, and thanks to Turnstyle Dubplates who hooked up Malice with all the acetate head choppas that night!

DJ Starscream
Another Dimensional Drop
feat. DJ Destroy, and Paranorm from the Omnigods
$1.49
IN STOCK |
|
| Another dope Starscream track for your MP3 collection, A.D.D. has Starscream cutting up some Shiro breaks with some off-the-dome lyrics being dropped from Los Angeles' Paranorm from the legendary underground hip-hop group Omnigods (hardcore L.A. "we ain't takin no shit" rappers!). Take notes, this is a dope session! Also this track features N2O's DJ Destroy from the old school break record "Headcracks" and indie anthem "Tried by 12." He wrote the song for the East Flatbush crew and it remains a hip hop classic to this day! A.D.D. is definitely a rare and locked down track that was done freestyle during Starscream's short stay in Rick Rubin's mansion while recording "Volume 3" with the band! |

DJ Starscream
Death of Starscream
$1.49
IN STOCK |
|
| The 'Death of Starscream' was only released in Japan as a secret hidden track from "DJ Starscream's Sound Assault" CD on N2O Records, and its the first self produced jungle track by Sid Wilson! Its an all out amen tear-out track that gives the kids what they want, canes to the ear! There are a lot of songs out there on P2P that claim to be Starscream's songs, but this is the real 1st song he produced and submitted to N2O Records for release in 2001. DOS sounds like older "Duality" Slipknot but with more mashed out faster mechanical transformer drums and multiple basslines. The title is a reference to the Transformers anime that Starscream reps in his ink-work on his forearms and Starscream (for those not in the know) is a character that DJ Starscream is really into, you should see all the toys people send him! In the Transformer series, the Starscream character dies and this song is Sid's interpretation of the episode. If you don't have this in your Starscream collection, you ain't a true fan! |

$1.49

| This hot scratch - cut and kill song is another tune from Shiro's Fragments EP. If you don't have a copy on vinyl, you won't be able to get this song until his album is released. DJ Shiro has alot of different skills shown forth on this song. Cutting on the mixer, metal guitar and drum programming. It's definitely on some Psycho Realm or Cypress Hill style hip hop. Real dark and deep. If you liked Mixmaster Mike or D-Style's productions, this is one of the originators of the analog cutting production. |

DJ 3D
LA2NY
$1.49
IN STOCK |
|
| A true American jungle sound is only made from scratch... here we have the American leading drum and bass producer from the Midwest, DJ 3D. With over 30 records under his belt, he is one of the leaders of the N2O Records catalog. His duties as party promoter and record label owner and prolific DJ, we can all appreciate how hard he works to craft the real jungle sound. Gone are the days of the great hip hop remixes on jungle labels. But this is one of the most famed jungle tracks with the hardest hip hop vocals. LA to NY features one of DJ 3D's production partners on vocals and he belts out one of the best hip hop jungle lyrics to be immortalized on vinyl... "All the Gunslingin' niggas from LA to NY... pistol spray as we talk..." the bass drop is such a hard roller that drop jaws to this day, rock this on your Ipod and you'll be rollin hard like gangstas. |

Move
$1.49
IN STOCK |
|
| Originally the song "Move" was pressed on the flip side of "Ragga 2001," this song was a hidden amen roller anthem that DJ 3D wrote in 2000. The song had a long atmospheric dark intro that has 2 hard bass drops. the second bass drop in particular brings massive hardstepping bass to the song. Much like the old school ragga anthems of 1996, this song reminds us of the song "Stamina" or "Warriors" from the old classic Suburban Base catalog. Real hardstepping soldiers would brock out into some hectic b-boying over this 2nd bass drop. |

BANG
$1.49
IN STOCK |
|
| "Bang" originally appeared on B-Boy 3000's solo cd album in 1999 on his now defunked Mictlan Records. His label passed this song off to N2O to be remastered and pressed with abother song called "Afterlife." The song "Bang" never made it to repress on N2O but they allowed us to make it available on our digital download selections. This will be the only place you can get this song until it goes off to I-tunes. This B-boy thriller of a jungle song is a menace of a tune that drives hard into amens and ill basslines that they really don't bring to the jungle anymore. Illness seems to have vanished form drum and bass these days in trade for the flavore of the month. Bring back the illness to your digital player and rock this one loud! |

Imagine
if the DJ Shadow had a darker side to his music..... this actually
is a reality with DJ Shiro. The dark-tempo sound that he originated
is brought forth on this "Fragments" tune. It's a dark and cuttable
tune that has some ill basslines and crunchy guitar riffs (which he
plays himself as well) for all the harder edge hip hop heads out there.
It's one of the very first hip hop songs on the N2O catalog. The vinyl
version features 2 extra songs but this "fragments" is a standout
song in the DJ Shiro discography. this is the first single off his
album on N2O Records.

Ohmz
$1.49
IN STOCK |
|
| Another
classic dark tempo tune by the mysterious DJ Shiro, this time he brings
the new elements of an even darker edge, almost a dark cave kinda sound
ethos. His music always is a great inspiration and almost a soundtrack
to a life of hard work and progression. If this is what is in head,
we know why we works so hard as a musician, tabla drummer, and visual
artist. You can almost hear some buddhist monk chanting and meditative
sounds going on in this tune. The little orange 7" "Pain" is where you
can also find this song with another limited song on the vinyl version.
"Ohmz" is outright deep in the cut of the mind of DJ Shiro. This was
the pivital 20th release on N2O records catalog. |

| One
of the very first vinyl releases on our shop's label "Freeburning Records"
featured this new and innovatively bright crew of producers from Los
Angeles Natural Kauses. A crew of dj's that came right out of the woodwork
of engineering and recording school. The NK crew came forth with this
great metal guitar jungle song that blew some doors off the hindges
at the local drum and bass parties and also in Eastern Europe. They
brought a new tight and edge ridden sound that compares to Concord Dawn
and Keaton. These guys are definitely influenced by some of the hit
makers that molded drum and bass like Dillinja and Tech Itch. They have
a long future ahead of them. |

| Once

asshole Hitler built which separated East Germany and West Germany...
you all were too young to remember but this was some dictator shit that
ended during the Reagan years. Never thought we'd see that day, but
the Cold War was over at that point. This record would never have been
made if the wall was still up. A German group by the name of Bizarre
Individualz from Germany, who later was signed by Magic Vinyl..... were
the first German signed group on N2O. This hardstep stormer was influenced
by Decoder and Photek. Lots of great parts on this song. It goes to
show that the legendary label N2O is not just a simple ragga label...
they really know how to piss people off by being the best at all the
styles..... much like Bruce Lee. |

| Every
so often you come across what we term.... an amen anthem. One of those
prolific tracks that just keeps belting out the amen breaks one after
the other. Cellulos by ODG achieves this moniker.... amens up the ying
yang. Striking stabs and blasting bass that drives the drums full speed
ahead, ODG manages to bring the ruckus to the tables. We've seen this
tune create mosh pits and all kinds of mayhem on the floors. The ill
"monk on cellphone" graphic says it all. Ever sen the movie
"Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon?" N2O always rocking the ill
Asian graphics and kung fu styles legit. |

then this EP is for you. Alot of wild sounds and dub influenced garage
rock influences on this one. |

Diss - Spirit
$1.49
IN STOCK |
|
| "Dis-spirit" features debut female
singer Sham, which is this super hot girl up in Toronto. A very hot
voice she brings to the Ray Keith style roller which reminds me a bit
of some of the gritty sounds from Tron's "Bombshell" on True
Playaz. Even though you have this sexy chick singing over the tune,
you still get a hard amen track. As always, N2O does not disappoint
when it comes to the hard jungle sound. This almost was an A-side track
on an upcoming N2O release. It just so happened to fit well on the flipside
of "Noize Check." The chronic transparent green vinyl sets
off the graphics very dope like. You can always break off a chunk of
the record and pack it in your 2 foot glass bong and smoke it right
to your head. I'm sure you will get a severe rush much like the beats
will give you when you play it out on a big sound system. |

Absolute sickness on this clear vinyl. Real smooth intro that runs right
into this dark bassline roller that we've heard mixed with a sick acapella
like Mob Deep and Wu Tang. We've also seen this rocked doubles on that
bassline. Not too many tracks can be given the anthem category, but
this Rollout is one champion drum and bass track. |

| One
of the hardest hitting drum and bass songs to ever come out of the states,
"Sandgrinder" was pressed on the flipside of the 29th release of N2O

a song to mosh to. One of the best N2O sounds you will ever be blasting
from your digital player. You can rock this tune and heads in the accounting
department will be in a flurry of paperwork and mosh pitting with the
secretary pool. More people need to be blasting music to the people
on the streets and this would be one of the anthems to let the world
know that you are a true jungle soldier. |
